Their Story

I knew when I was two that I would be a soldier someday. I'd help my father take off his combat boots. I’d wear his hat. I’d sneak Hershey bars out of his C-Rats. I was blessed to serve my nation for almost 40 years and to come home safely. I was blessed to form lifelong relationships . I was humbled by exploring the poorest places on Earth and seeing first-hand that I lived in the Greatest County on Earth. The USA is worth fighting for. It is worth dying for. I'm glad I didn’t have to.

“Exiting an aircraft and walking on US soil again. Being greeted by my wife and son after being away multiple times. Drinking a cold beer and eating some American ribeye steak! Taking a hot 30-minute shower by myself. Seeing all my soldiers reunited with those they missed and loved. Being reunited with my dog.”
