Their Story
My uncle was an amazing man that brought hope and love into my life. He was my father figure and I believe his life and time in service lead me to joining the Army. James passed away in 2009 from cancer and his memory lives on. I want to honor him with this tribute.
“When he took me out fishing on his boat and I learned to steal the motor, and at the end of the day we splashed water at each other, laughing hard. If I could freeze that day in time I would as it was truly the most joyous time of my life”
