Their Story

Major Polk served as a rifleman, grenadier and RTO in A CO 1/506th Infantry, 101st Airborne in 1968 in Vietnam. He continued his service in Troop E, 4th Cav, 88th ARCOM as a scout, tanker and tank commander. After 4 years active duty as a recruiter, he completed, his 20-year career, as an Armor Officer retiring as a Major.
