Their Story

My husband Rick was my hero. He was drafted in January 1970, he was 19 years old. He did basic training at Ft. Bragg and AIT at Ft.Sill
We were married before he left for Vietnam
He was stationed with the 1st Infantry Brigade,5th Infantry Division (Mechanized) at Quang Tri from July 1970-1971.
AS a result of his service and exposure to Agent Orange he lost his life on January 2 2018. HE was killed in Vietnam, it just took 47 Years to die. HE was only 67 years old

“The day I met Rick, in 9th grade science class he sat behind me, we were together from then on ,we were together for 51 wonderful years, married for 47 years. He was my soulmate and the love of my life. Love him forever and miss him everyday.”
